Central Railway Apprentice Trades:

Fitter, Welder, Carpenter, Painter, Tailor, Electrician, Programming & Systems Administration Assistant, Mechanic Diesel, Turner, Machinist, Instrument Mechanic, Laboratory Assistant, Electronic Mechanic, Painter, Mechanic Machine Tools Maintenance, Computer Operator & Programming Assistant, Information Technology & Electronic System Maintenance etc.

Central Railway Apprentice Age Limit:

Minimum 15 years and Maximum 24 years as on 15/12/2022.
Upper Age Realxation – 05 years for SC / ST and 03 years for OBC.

Central Railway Apprentice Salary / Stipend: ₹ 7000/- per month for National or State Certificate Holder.

Central Railway Apprentice Educational Qualification:

10th class (Matric) examination passed or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks.
National Trade Certificate / ITI in relevant trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or Provisional Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training / State Council for Vocational Training.

Central Railway Apprentice Selection Process:

Selection will be on the basis of merit list prepared in respect of all the candidates who apply against the notification.
The merit list will be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks in matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done.
The panel will be on the basis of simple average of marks in the matriculation and ITI.

Central Railway Apprentice Application Fee:

A Non Refundable fee of ₹ 100/-.
The Fee payment will have to be made online through payment gateway – using debit card / credit card / Internet Banking / SBI Challan etc.
