Commercial Pilot Licence – Short Service Appointment (CPL-SSA): 19 to 25 years
Technical: 21 to 25 years.

Indian Coast Guard AC Eligibility Criteria:
General Duty (GD) / (Pilot / Navigator): Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with minimum 60% Marks. Mathematics and Physics as subject upto Intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent with minimum 55% marks in each subject.
General Duty (GD) (Women SSA): Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with minimum 60% Marks. Mathematics and Physics as subject upto Intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent with minimum 55% marks in each subject.
Commercial Pilot Licence (SSA): Should have passed 12th class or equivalent with physics and mathematics as subjects and should have scored minimum of 55% marks in each of the subjects (i.e. Physics 55% & Mathematics 55%). The candidates who have completed diploma are also eligible, provided they should possess an aggregate of 55% marks in diploma with physics and mathematics in its curriculum. Should possess current Commercial Pilot Licence issued/ validated by Director General Civil Aviation on the date of submission of application.
Technical (Mechanical): Should hold an Engineering degree of recognised university in Naval Architecture or Mechanical or Marine or Automotive or Mechatronics or Industrial and Production or Metallurgy or Design or Aeronautical or Aerospace with minimum 60% aggregate marks. (OR) Equivalent qualification in any of the above disciplines recognised by the Institutes of the Engineers (India) as exempted from section ‘A’ and ‘B’ and their associate membership examination (AMIE).
Technical (Electrical / Electronics): Should hold an Engineering degree of recognised university in Electrical or Electronics or Telecommunication or Instrumentation or Instrumentation and Control or Electronics and Communication or Power Engineering or Power Electronics with minimum 60% aggregate marks. (OR) Equivalent qualification in any of the above disciplines recognised by the Institutes of the Engineers (India) as exempted from section ‘A’ and ‘B’ and their associate membership examination (AMIE).
Law Entry: A degree in Law from a recognized university with minimum 60% aggregate marks.

Indian Coast Guard Navik Yantrik Age Limit:
Minimum 18 years and Maximum 22 years.
Born between 01 Sep 2001 to 31 Aug2005 (both dates inclusive).
Age Relaxation – 05 years for SC / ST and 03 years for OBC (Non Creamy) candidates.
Indian Coast Guard Navik Yantrik Pay Scale and other Benefits:
Navik (General Duty): Basic pay of ₹ 21700/- (Pay Level-3) plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances based on nature of duty/place of posting as per the prevailing regulations.
Navik(Domestic Branch): Basic Pay Scale for Navik (DB) is ₹ 21700/- (Pay Level-3) plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances based on nature of duty/place of posting as per the prevailing regulation.
Yantrik: Basic pay ₹ 29200/- (Pay Level-5). In addition, you will be paid Yantrik pay @ ₹ 6200/- plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances based on nature of duty/place of posting as per the prevailing regulation.
Indian Coast Guard Navik Yantrik Eligibility Criteria:
Navik (General Duty): 10+2 passed with Maths and Physics from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
Navik (Domestic Branch): 10th Class passed from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
Yantrik: 10th class passed from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) and Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical / Electronics/ Telecommunication (Radio/ Power) Engineering approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
Indian Coast Guard Navik Yantrik Medical Standards:
Medical examination will be conducted by authorised Military Doctors as per medical standard prescribed in current regulations applicable to Enrolled Personnel on entry.
Height: Minimum height is 157 cms. Reduction in height for candidates from hilly areas and tribal areas will be in accordance with the Central Govt. orders.
Chest: Should be well proportioned. Minimum expansion 5 cms.
Weight: Proportionate to height and age +10 percentage acceptable.
Hearing: Normal.
Visual Standard: 6/36 (Better Eye) and 6/36 (Worse Eye).
Tattoo: Permanent body tattoos are not permitted on any part of the body.

Stage I: Computer Based Online Examination.
Stage II: Physical Fitness Test, Document Verification, Re-assessment of Inconsistent Performers, Initial Medicals Examination.
Stage III: Document Verification, Final Medicals at INS Chilka.
Stage IV: The candidates are to submit all the original documents and verification of all original documents through boards/ universities/ state government will be carried out by Indian Coast Guard.
