Eligibility Criteria for MHSRB Medical Officer Recruitment 2023

Educational Qualification : Must possess a Degree in Ayurveda for Medical Officer (Ayurveda); Degree in Homeo for Medical Officer (Homeo); Degree in Unani for Medical Officer (Unani) as the case may be; awarded by a university in India established or incorporated by or under central Act or State Act or Provincial Act or an institution recognized by the University Grants commission or any statutory Board of the State Government after having undergone a regular course of Institutional study in the respective systems both in theory and practice for a period not less than 4½ years duration in a teaching institution recognized by the university or state government with one year compulsory internship, as on date of notification.

Further, the applicants should register their degree certificate with Board of Indian
Medicine, Telangana as on date of their application.

Equivalent Qualification : At the time of verification of certificates, if it is noticed that any applicant who possesses a qualification other than requisite qualification and claims that said qualification is equivalent to the requisite qualification, the matter shall be referred to an ‘Expert Committee’ constituted by the Board and the Board will takea decision based on the report of the ‘Expert Committee’.
