Qualification

  • Senior Assistant: Possess the Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institution.
  • Sr. Assistant (IT): Should posses a degree in B.E. or B.Tech in Information Technology or Electronics and Communication or Computer Science from a recognized university or institution with minimum of fifty per cent marks in aggregate in each case, or Should possess a Master’s degree in Computer Applications from a recognized university or institution with minimum of fifty per cent marks in aggregate and should have an experience of two years in the field of Information and Communication Technology.
  • Sr. Assistant (Account): Should posses a degree of B.com IInd class from recognized university or institution and experience of accounts for a period of three years in a commercial organization.
  • Technical Assistant: Should have a Master’s Degree (with at least fifty per cent marks) from a recognized university or an institution in Economics or Mathematics or Agriculture Economics orCommerce with Statistics as one of the papers or Master’s degree (with at least fifty per cent marks) from a recognized university or an institution in Statistics: Provided that preference shall be given to a person having an experience in collection, compilation and analysis of Statistical data in a Government office or a recognized institution on a post identical or similar to Statistical Assistant in the Economic and Statistical Organization, Punjab for a minimum period of one year; OR Should have a Master’s Degree (with less than fifty per cent marks) from a recognized university or an institution in Economics or Mathematics or Agriculture Economics or Commerce with Statistics as one of the papers or Master’s degree (with less than fifty per cent marks) from a recognized university or an institution in Statistics.
  • Research Assistant (Water Resources Department): Should possesses the Bachelor’s Degree of Science (NonMedical) or Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Honors) or B.Tech (Civil) with minimum sixty percent marks in aggregate from a recognized university or an institution in any of the subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
