Assam Police Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Class VI passed and maximum qualification will be HSSLC or Class XII passed.

Other diploma qualification required :

Training Certificate issued by Sector Skill Council (SSC) will carry 5 marks. OR

Minimum 01 (one) year work experience Certificate from registered NGO/ Municipality Board / Govt. Departments will carry 5 marks. Registered NGOs registration Number must be reflected in the Certificate.

Grade IV Staff

18-25 Years or 18-40 Years

1. Multitasking & Maintenance Staff- I (Technical)

  1. Minimum Class VIII passed and maximum qualification will be HSSLC or Class XII passed.
  2. Other diploma qualification required.

2. Multitasking & Maintenance Staff- II (Non- Technical)

  1. Minimum Class VIII passed and maximum qualification will be HSSLC or Class XII.
  2. Other diploma qualification required.
Cook18-40 Years

Read up to Class VI and maximum qualification will be HSSLC or Class XII passed.

Boatman18-25 Years
  1. Passed HSLC or equivalent examination.
  2. Proficiency in swimming.
Driver Constable18-25 Years

HSLC or equivalent examination passed and must possess valid driving license for LMV or MMV or HMV.

Nurse & Others21-40 Years
  1. For Nurse : Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM).
  2. For Laboratory Technician : Passed Laboratory Technician Course.
  3. For Teacher : HSSLC Passed & Jr. Basic Training Certificate.
  4. For Craft Instructor : HSLC Passed And Certificate in Bamboo & Cane work / Tailoring/ Weaving/ Soap making from ITI or such other recognized Institute.
  5. For Tractor Operator : HSLC Passed and Tractor Driving License.
Havilder18-40 Years

H.S.L.C or equivalent examination passed And Minimum NCC ‘B’ Certificate.

Assistant Deputy Controller, Civil Defence (Jr.) and Civil Defence Demonstrator / Wireless Operator21-40 Years
  1. Assistant Deputy Controller, Civil Defence (Jr.) : Minimum Bachelor Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce and Other Required Qualification.
  2. Civil Defence Demonstrator / Wireless Operator : Minimum HSLC Passed and Other Required Qualification.
Constable in APRO18-25 Years
  1. Constable of Police (Communication) : H.S. (Science) passed with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM). The Candidates must have obtained pass marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) in H.S. (Science) examination to apply for the post.
  2. Constable (Dispatch Rider) : HSLC or equivalent examination passed and must possess valid driving license for LMV or MMV or HMV.
  3. Constable (Messenger) : HSLC or equivalent examination and must possess valid driving license for LMV or MMV or HMV.
  4. Constable (Carpenter) : HSLC or equivalent examination passed and passed prescribed ITI course in trade.
Constable (AB & UB)18-25 Years
  1. Constable (UB): H.S. or Class XII passed.
  2. Constable (AB): H.S.L.C or Class-X passed.
Constable (AB) For Assam Commando Battalions18-21 Years

HSLC or Equivalent examination passed.

Constable (AB & UB) For Hills Tribe category18-30 Years
  1. Constable (UB): H.S. or Class XII passed.
  2. Constable (AB): H.S.L.C or Class-X passed.
SI in APRO20-24 Years

B.Sc. (Electronics Science/ IT/ Computer Science) (10+2+3 duration) OR

3-year Diploma or equivalent with 2 years work experience in the field of Electronics, Telecom, IT or allied environment. OR

3-year Diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional course/ courses in Telecommunication /IT /Computer Science/ Computer Engineering or equivalent. OR

Master of Computer Application (MCA) OR

B.E./ B. Tec. in E & TC or Computer or Instrumentation or IT or equivalent qualification in same discipline.

SI (AB)20-24 Years

The Candidate must be a graduate in Arts/ Science/ Commerce or equivalent.

SI (UB)20-26 Years

The Candidate must be a graduate in Arts / Science/ Commerce or equivalent stream.
