UP Police ASI & SI Eligibility Criteria 2023
Sub Inspector of Police (Confidential)
- Graduation pass from a recognized University.
- Hindi typing (in unicode on inscript keyboard) speed of at least 25 words per minute and English typing speed of at least 30 words per minute,
- Hindi shorthand dictation at a minimum speed of 80 words per minute. (Candidates will be declared successful on the basis of purity determined by Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board.)
- Must have passed passed “O” level examination in Computer from the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT Society) (formerly Doyak Society) of the Government of India or any qualification recognized as equivalent by the Government.
Assistant Sub Inspector of Police (Clerk)
- Graduation pass from a recognized University.
- Hindi typing (in unicode on inscript keyboard) speed of at least 25 words per minute and English typing speed of at least 30 words per minute,
- Must have passed “O” level examination in Computer from the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT Society) (formerly Doyak Society) of the Government of India or possess any qualification recognized by the Government.
Assistant Sub Inspector of Police (Accounts)
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or PG Diploma in Accountancy from a recognized University.
- Hindi typing (in Unicode on Inscript keyboard) speed of at least 15 words per minute.
- Must have passed “O” level examination in Computer from the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT Society) (formerly Doyak Society) of the Government of India or any qualification recognized as equivalent by the Government.
