WBPSC Food Sub Inspector 2023 Age Limit:

✔️ Minimum 18 years and Maximum 40 years as on 1st January 2023.
✔️ Born not earlier than 2nd January 1983 and not later than 1st January 2005.
✔️ Age relaxation – 05 years for SC / ST candidates of West Bengal and by 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates of West Bengal.

WBPSC Food Sub Inspector 2023 Salary: Pay Level 6 ₹ 22,700/- to 58,500/- as per ROPA-2019 -besides D.A., M.A. and H.R.A. admissible as per rules.

WBPSC Food Sub Inspector 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

(1) Pass in Madhyamik Examination (Matric, 10th 12th) of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.
(2) Ability to read ,write and speak in Bengali / Nepali.
(3) Knowledge of Bengali will be tested for candidates whose mother tongue is other than Bengali/ Nepali at the time of Personality Test. Candidature of the candidates with average and/ poor performance in the said knowledge of Bengali Test shall liable to be cancelled.
(4) Must possess sound health and ability to undertake extensive tours in rural areas of West Bengal.

WBPSC Food Sub Inspector 2023 Selection Process:

Written Examination

The Examination will consist of only one paper on (i) General Studies (ii) Arithmetic (Total Marks – 100 (50 marks each)).

WBPSC Food Sub Inspector 2023 Exam Syllabus:

(1) General Studies (Matters of common experience including every day science, current events and problems with special reference to India, elementary knowledge of Indian History and Indian Geography).
(2) Arithmetic (Questions will be set on the basis of the syllabus of Madhyamik Examination of the W.B.B.S.E. with mental ability).
(3) Assessment and evaluation of answer scripts done by the Commission shall be final.
