Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission

Under the re-organization of Madhya Pradesh, the State of Chattisgarh came into existence on 1st November 2000 and Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission was formed under the provision of Act 315 of the Constitution of India on 23rd May 2001.

The commission was established on May 3, 2001, in accordance with Act 315 of Part XIV of the Indian Constitution, following the formation of its particular state, Chhattisgarh, on November 1, 2000, as a result of the division of the many Madhya Pradesh districts into a single state.
