The Karnataka Sakala Services Act, 2011 and (Amendment) Act,2014.
A Bill has been passed by the Karnataka State Legislature to provide guarantee of services to citizens in the State of Karnataka within the stipulated time limit and for matters connected therewith and incidental thereto. This Act is called the Karnataka Guarantee of Services to Citizens Act, 2011.
Janasnehi Kendra (NADA Services)
The new Atalji Jansnehi Kendra Project has been launched in 777 Hobli centres across the state on 25.12.2012. Revenue Department Karnataka Nemmadi Project was started in 2006 by the e-Governance department on the PPP mode though 802 telecentres across State. Through this the Government envisaged that all the Revenue services would be accessible to the common man at the Hobli level through transparent, reliable and affordable means. These centres, meant for the electronic delivery of citizen services in rural areas were named as Atalji Janasnehi Kendras as per the Government order dated 18.12.2012.
